South African Candy

These guys are sort of like tiny Dots covered in sugar with the consistency of sand.  They're actually really quite good!  Nothing to write home about, but I would definitely eat them more than once.

The Crazi berries are the same as the original flavored Jelly Tots, only in berry flavors.  Who'd of thunk it?  Haha.

Tiny, creepy baby jellies.  They don't look like babies...at all.  That doesn't really matter, but still!  The consistency is much harder than you might expect; but, the flavor is very similar to the Tots.

Random Candies from Nihon!

I love these little guys.  Puccho Gumi.  They're tiny little gummies with odd flavor mixtures.  I've never had the one to the left in the above picture, but I have had the three to the right.  The purple one is grape and yogurt.  The blue one is regular ramune soda and melon ramune soda.  And, the brown/red one is cola and energy drink.  They're so addicting but they go by so fast!

I bought these the other day and I'm completely addicted!  They're plum flavored, but not the sort of plum I'm used to.  If I'd never had a Japanese umeboshi before I probably would've been a little disgusted, haha.  They're sweet and tangy and a little bit salty.  Hard on the outside, soft on the inside.  And, once you adjust to the culture shock on your tongue they're wicked.

Apple Jellies!  They're cubes of jellied apple...basically.  The flavor is light and the texture is strange, but I'd totally recommend them to any lover of red/fuji/etc. apples.

And, last but not least, these chocolate/green tea treats.  They're bite sized and practically melt in your mouth!  Layers of chocolate, matcha, and chocolate all over again!

A Tribute to Harry Potter

Since the first half of the seventh movie is coming out within days...

Yes, I've had them.  Yes, they're disgusting.  The normal flavors are tastey enough.  I was lucky enough to never come across a vomit flavored one, but I did manage soap, grass, dirt and others which are vile enough without crossing over that line.  Soap I simply had to spit out.  Grass I could chew for a while but still despised it.  Dirt.  Yeah.  It's like eating dirt.  And they all taste as they should!  How they got the flavors right I'll never know; but, they're spot on and revolting.

Halloween Sour Skittles.

I'm disappointed!  Amused, but regardless, disappointed.

The Sour Skittles I bought for Halloween are covered in a powder that has no tartness to it.  Like eating a fuzzy Original Skittle.  No sour power.  Not one bit.

Gourmet Candy Corn

I've only tried two flavors so far, but I plan on trying more!

This is the best candy corn I've ever had in my life!  It tastes just like a pumpkin pie!  Once I started eating it, I couldn't stop!  These corns are so very addicting.

I've also tried the Strawberry Cotton Candy variety!  I like the Pumpkin Pie ones a bit more, but these ones are good as well!  They taste like their namesake.

I found these guys at Target!  Just a little heads up, haha.

Bourbon Chokozutsumi!

Absolutely fantatical about these!  I couldn't find a picture of them anywhere, so a webcam shot is going to have to do what justice it can.

These delicious little guys are tiny mochi cakes filled with a green tea flavored chocolate.  They are absolutely to die for.  Rich and creamy and so very palatable.

Japanese Marshmallows!

Filled marshmallows, at that!

After a short reprieve brought on by an illness and broken finger, I've returned!  Today I stopped by the local 200 yen store in China Town and bought a few things.  There wasn't much candy to speak of, but I did manage a few bags!

Just now, I sat down and ate an entire bag of these.  They're so very tastey.  Apple jelly filled marshmallows.  The apple flavor is light, but just enough that you get that savory sweetness!  Very addicting.

This is the only photo of the strawberry filled marshmallows that I could find [they're around the outside].  Both these and the chocolate filled ones [seen inside the bag] are fantastic!  Like the apple ones, the strawberry marshmallows are light in flavor.  They are, however, more on the sweet side.  The chocolate marshmallows are not as light, but most certainly delicious [they're probably my favorite filled marshmallow to date].

I didn't get my hands on these today, but I've had them in the past.  They mimic the consistency of the apple and strawberry marshmallows, but with a mild grape taste instead!

Hello Kitty filled Marshmallows!  This cat dabbles her paws in everything.  These guys are sweet and tangy.  I prefer the mango to the pineapple, but they're both plenty edible!

Any one of these bags I could eat in one sitting, easy!  They're terribly delicious and light.  You won't ruin your diet with these little beauties!
